Delicious Marinated Tempeh
Ingredients
- 1/4 c. tamari, Bragg Liquid Aminos, or soy sauce
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. brown mustard
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 8 oz. tempeh, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
Directions
In a bowl, combine all the marinated ingredients and whisk. Add the cubed tempeh and coat thoroughly with the marinade. Cover and refigerate for 1-2 hours. Stir fry the tempeh for 8-10 minutes or until the tempeh is browned and crisp on the edges. Serve atop rice and veggies. Also works well in a quinoa salad.
