Simple Pesto
Ingredients
- 5 cups tightly packed fresh basil
- 5 cups pine nuts
- 5 cups extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. brown rice miso paste
- 3 tsp. lemon juice
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
Directions
Food process all ingredients until they are a fine considency. This makes a lot. The pesto will keep for awhile if frozen. Try this pesto in a pasta salad with toasted pine nuts and peas.
